2014 SUMMER OPEN RESULTS!

A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who made the Youghal Summer Open a resounding success! The finals were held on Sunday last the 14th September – and we would like to congratulate the Winners and Finalists of the four events which follow.

Ladies’ Doubles result  – Sarah & Laura Donoghue v Valerie Hunt & Deirdre Clarke 9-5
Ladies’ Singles result  – Bridget Webb v Sheila McGovern 9-2
Men’s Doubles result – Kevin Callaghan & David O’Connell v Darragh Martin & Tony Smith 2-0 sets (6-4, 6-3)
Men’s Singles result – John Donovan v Mikey Kenefick 9-0

In particular a special mention to all those members who contributed towards this tournament and whose unceasing support make competitions happen. We also greatly appreciated those supporters who turned out in decent numbers to cheer on the troupes and for creating a great atmosphere.
